Dr. Victoria Ngo, DDS

Dr. Victoria Ngo (pronounced “no” or “go”) grew up in Toronto and graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry, obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Ngo is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, and the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club. Dr. Ngo enjoys practicing all facets of general dentistry with great interest in restorative dentistry and orthodontics.  Her philosophy is to practice conservative and preventive dentistry to maintain the health of teeth in their natural form as much as possible.  Dr. Ngo consistently takes continuing education courses to update her skills and believes knowledge is very important in providing quality dental care for her patients. Her caring manner, gentle approach and patience contributes to a relaxing and comfortable clinical experience for her patients who have complimented her on such. Dr. Ngo looks forward to working with patients of all ages at Yonge & Merton Dental, and will work with you and your family to understand and achieve your treatment goals for a healthy smile.

Dr. Daniel Vassel, DDS

Dr. Daniel Vassel is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Vassel is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons. After graduating in 1978 he completed a Dental Internship at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto with a focus on the medically compromised patient and also worked with the native indian population on reserves in Northern Ontario providing dental care to isolated communities. He then provided much needed care as a part of a team of new graduates who participated as missionaries in Haiti in association with EMAS (Evangelical Medical Aid Society). Dr. Vassel was a clinical instructor with the Restorative Department at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto for 29 years. He enjoyed working with other general dentists and specialists in the training of dental students as they proceeded with their clinical education. Dr. Vassel is an avid golfer, as well as a novice bridge player and enjoys painting. He is happily married with 2 children. Dr Vassel has practised dentisty at his current location since 1981 with a focus on family and restorative dentistry.

Christina Tallis, RDH

Christina Tallis is a dental hygienist, graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program in 1988 at George Brown College in Toronto. Christina graduated with Honours and is a recipient of the Bill Veenstra award for her academic achievements. She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Hygienist Association and the Canadian Dental Hygienist Association, and continues her dental education attending courses, lectures and workshops. She is dedicated to her profession and established a program of continuing periodontal maintenance and individual patient oral health care needs in the office.
